We partner with trusted carriers to ensure your order arrives safely:

• Canada Post (Default carrier for domestic shipments)

To simplify our process and ensure the best service, we do not offer the option to use your own shipping account or carrier.

📍 Shipped from Brantford, Ontario

All orders are shipped from our central warehouse in Brantford, Ontario. We currently ship ground courier to all provinces in Canada and the USA.

🌍 International Shipping - Duties & Taxes

DHL DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Shipments:

For international orders shipped via DHL, we collect all applicable duties and taxes at checkout. This means there are no surprise fees when your order arrives—everything is paid upfront for a seamless delivery experience.

Important information for international customers:

• Duties and taxes are calculated and collected during checkout based on your destination country
• These charges are included in your final order total—no additional fees at delivery
• Customers must provide any required customs documentation to ensure smooth delivery
• Shipments may be held by customs if proper documentation is not provided
• We are not responsible for delays or returns due to incomplete customs documentation
• If your shipment is returned to us by customs due to missing documentation, you may be responsible for return shipping costs and duties/taxes will not be refunded

💰 Transparent Shipping Rates

We pass on our heavily discounted carrier rates directly to you. We do not operate our Shipping Department as a profit centre.

Your shipping cost is calculated online using our negotiated discounted rates based on weight and volume. Please note that online quotes are estimates, and we reserve the right to adjust shipping charges if necessary. If this occurs, you will be contacted for approval before your order is processed.

🌡️ Temperature & Product Care

Carriers often do not heat trucks in winter or refrigerate them in summer. This will not harm product integrity. Simply leave products at room temperature for 24 hours before opening. Occasionally, stirring the product before use may be required to regain consistency.

🔐 Insurance & Liability

Couture De Beaute Inc. takes no responsibility for any loss, damages, or delays that may occur during shipping. Additional insurance must be requested at time of order. Without notification, we ship products without insurance.

We will not be held responsible for refunding the cost of freight on orders delayed for reasons outside of our control.

💵 Additional Charges

If you call the carrier to redirect your parcel to another address, or if your address is input incorrectly or missing information requiring carrier updates, there will be a charge of $10–$15 per box billed to the customer.

📦 Out-of-Stock Items

We notify customers of out-of-stock items. If we do not hear back within 2 business days, orders will be shipped as-is and the balance refunded by the original payment method. Out-of-stock items are NOT automatically shipped later and must be reordered when stock is replenished.

🌿 Essential Oils (Hazardous Goods)

Essential oils are classified as Hazardous Goods when shipped by air. Only ground shipments are available for essential oils. Express (air) shipments are available for all other products.

🌱 Environmental Commitment

For environmental reasons, packing slips will not be shipped with orders. Please use a copy of your emailed invoice as a packing slip.

💳 Tax Information

As of July 1, 2010, no company in Ontario is tax-exempt. Tax rates are applied based on your province:
